Words of encouragement for the new week

Welcome to a new week. Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Today is Monday, let's do this. 

Today's words of encouragement came to me midweek last week. I was overwhelmed with work and I was just thinking of all the things I want to accomplish and how I have prayed, yet I'm still waiting for answers to my prayers.

When the Lord brought back his exiles to Jerusalem,

it was like a dream!

We were filled with laughter,

and we sang for joy,

and the other nations said,

"What amazing things the Lord has done for them"

Yes, the Lord has done amazing things for us!

What joy!

I remember reading this bible verse in Pidgin English. The part of 'it was like a dream!' was 'e be like film trick!' I laughed out loud. I believe that when God answer my prayers, it will be like a film trick. Like y'all will be wondering and I'll be wondering with y'all😁😁😁😁 

So if you're hoping and believing God for great things or just wanting something so bad, I hope today's bible verse helps you keep your focus on God and be expectant for your very own film trick.
